With over 15 years of experience as an educator, Carolyn Wilsey specializes in creating individualized learning plans with students to enhance ease, confidence, enjoyment, and significance of learning.
She brings knowledge from previous positions as a Learning Specialist at Stanford University and the State University of New York, Writing Coach/Consultant at Columbia University and Marymount Manhattan College, and English Teacher and Academic Support Specialist at Compass High School, among others. Carolyn has years of training and experience working with students with learning differences and disabilities including ADHD, autism, and dyslexia.
She is fascinated by the intersection of mindfulness and learning and seeks to attune to each student’s way of describing what thriving looks like so she can provide approaches to get there.
